INTRO TO PSYCHOLOGY
Homework Assignment
Due Thursday, 8/30
·       Listen to “The Strangest Secret” by Earl Nightingale on the Brian Buffini Podcast: https://podcast.brianbuffini.com/strangest-secret-earl-nightingale-061/. 
o   On a 3x5 card, paraphrase 3 points that stood out to you as significant, profound, and/or interesting.
o   On another 3x5 card, choose and write down your specific goal for the thirty-day challenge as outlined by the speaker.
o   On one more card, write out how you think the topic of this podcast relates to psychology.
o   The cards can be written in any color and be as creative as you like. It just needs to be readable.
o   Bring the cards to class and be prepared to share them with me and perhaps a classmate.  You will be graded on your participation and ability to follow directions.
·       Begin reading Chapter 1 of the Rice text.
Due Tuesday, 9/4:
·       Finish reading Chapter 1 of the Rice text.  Be prepared for class discussion.
·       Read Chapter 1 of the Entwistle text. Answer questions 4 &5 on page 19. Be sure to answer in complete sentences.
