·       Due Thursday:
o    Read this article from the Washington Post: https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2015/06/16/down-syndrome-screening-isnt-about-public-health-its-about-eliminating-a-group-of-people/?utm_term=.4255f5a99aae. Answer the following questions in essay form.
a.       What test is given to identify Down Syndrome in utero?
b.       Why is selective abortion encouraged for Downs? How does this relate to the concept of eugenics?
c.       What reasons do pro-abortionists give for supporting the abortion of Down Syndrome babies?
d.       What do European countries like the Netherlands think about Down Syndrome individuals? I.e. how do they treat babies diagnosed in utero with Downs?
e.       From the author’s perspective, why does she disagree with terminative Downs pregnancies? From a Christian perspective, why is it wrong?
This assignment should be typed.  Any direct quotes taken from this and any other sources must be properly cited in APA format both in text and on a works cited page.
